Schools out and the neighbors are ready to party! We went to the Draper Park on Friday with the Hudaks and the Seelys. Two sets of twins...and nine children total. I've learned going to the park without Ken isn't such a great idea as both boys run in opposite directions. In the future...I'm dressing them both in red and buying a couple of leashes!
Tonight we went on a walk to celebrate Ken's "real" birthday. What more could a guy want then to celebrate with the neighborhood kids who sang to him and gave him Pop Rocks? The twins loved the attention from the girls and loved climbing in the Hudak's water feature!
Tonight we met Penny, Krista's family and Karla's family for dinner at the Spaghetti Factory to celebrate Ken's 40th. He has wonderful sisters who are always so good to him. And isn't Penny just gorgeous?
Gavin is a one happy guy. He wakes up laughing and is pretty much wild and crazy all day! He loves to dance, clap and entertain us with silly faces! He really is a good time and he is a HOOT!
Gage has a little trick he likes to pull on most nights. He acts sleepy and goes to bed at 9:00 pm...the same time as Gavin. After Gavin is asleep...Gage calls out and wants us to come get him...which we do! Gage then plays with us for the next hour (or so) and is as darling as can be. He loves the attention and really performs. He gives us hugs & kisses and he giggles & laughs. And then after his little show he will go back to bed. He is our "Night Owl"
What a fun time we had today at Grandma Penny's celebrating Mother's Day. The twins love their big cousin Jackson, who is learning to play the guitar. He is so talented and good looking! Of course, we are surrounded by the cutest girl cousins on the planet! Grandma is a blast and makes the boys laugh & laugh. And the boys love to turn off the TV right during the Jazz game. This visit there were two ducks outside and the boys loved chasing them. Always good times!
Today was our 2nd time in nursery! The boys did great...they love singing time and snack! The class is full of darling girls...so the boys have plenty of entertainment!
I was the hostess for one of my Bunco groups. It was such a fun night and I enjoyed decorating for the event! I went with a citrus theme and we finished off the night with yummy key-lime cupcakes!

Today the boys had their 3rd haircuts...and I don't know what happened but basically Gage has no bangs! After the haircuts, we went to the park where they loved playing in the sand and of course, Baby Tad came with us. We then went to McDonald's for a new treat...ice cream. Gavin isn't sure about the cold material but Gage ate it like a champ!
