Leslie's Baby Shower for Twin Boys!!

Congratulations to my dear friend Leslie and her husband Bryan! They will soon have twin boys and their lives will never be the same (or clean, calm,) again. It was a great shower and so fun to catch up with old friends from the Mt. Olympus Singles Ward. It was also wonderful to find out that Margaret will soon have a baby girl in her home!

Relief Society Luau

Can I just tell you I love the women in my ward. They are so smart, funny, spiritual and kind. Tonight was our Relief Society Luau...the food and entertainment were wonderful. And could anyone be cuter than Sister Seastrand?

Bunk-Off

Another fun night of Bunko with the girls from Suncrest. Tonight Mandi served the most amazing dinner. Everyone was so stuffed with good food that there was no clear winner...so they had to "Bunk-Off." I was so distracted by the hilarious conversation at my table that I won the prize for lowest Bunkos...I had zero!

Meeting Baby Madden

What a fun night celebrating Camille and Baby Madden! Lindsay made a crazy delicious meal and dessert. I don't know how she does it with three little ones too! It was fun to line the moms up on the couch with their new boys! Little girls of the world are so lucky to have these baby boys in it!

One Hot Welcome Home

Today was our first day home in three weeks...while unpacking I looked out my dining room window and saw huge clouds of smoke. It was a crazy big fire...we were lucky and the wind blew it away from Suncrest. No homes were destroyed which was a huge blessing!

We are coming for you! We will leave today and arrive tomorrow in Corona for three weeks of fun! We can't wait to see you!

August 1 & 2 @ 8:30 pm at the LDS church at Suncrest...my ward will be putting on a music-drama of III Nephi. Against a backdrop of stars and mountains the play will portray the fulfillment of the signs of the birth and death of Jesus Christ. Come join us for an inspiring remembrance of the climactic story of the Book of Mormon; the appearance of the resurrected Savior among the people of the New World. All are invited and admission is free. I'd love any and all of my friends to come. I'll be going on Saturday night!
